OUR PHILOSOPHY

Inspired by Sea Glass

If you’ve noticed the sea glass colors on our site, that’s no accident.

Sea glass starts out broken—shattered by force, tossed by waves. But over time, it’s transformed into something smooth, strong, and beautiful.

That’s how we see the divorce process. It may feel painful now, but with the right support, it can be the beginning of something better.

Why We Do This

Jeanette Soltys founded Atlanta Holistic Family Law after seeing firsthand how broken the system can feel.

Her own divorce was amicable. But when someone close to her went through a high-conflict case, she experienced just how exhausting and expensive the process can be. It took ten months just to reach mediation—ten months of emotional strain and mounting legal bills before any resolution even began.

At the time, Jeanette had already spent a decade handling high-conflict divorces and custody disputes. She knew the process could be tough—but seeing it from the personal side made the impact of the system much more real.

In the years that followed, she continued to see how the system—and too often, the attorneys in it—can escalate conflict instead of resolving it. She calls it the junk food divorce: emotionally charged litigation that drains your resources without delivering long-term value.

After 15 years in the field, she founded this firm to offer a different path: one focused on strategy, cooperation, and protecting what matters most.

Because there is a better way. One that protects your well-being, respects your resources, and helps you move forward with clarity, dignity, and peace.
