GEORGIA FAMILY LAW ATTORNEYS
Helping Families Through Difficult Times
Dealing with family law issues is an emotional experience. Whether you are negotiating the terms of a divorce, modifying the terms of a child support order, or agreeing on a reasonable division of assets, each decision has a profound effect. What you do now has the potential to affect a family dynamic that could last for years, if not decades.
Unfortunately, high-conflict family law and divorce matters can hurt families, as well as drain their bank accounts. Drawn out, costly litigation only benefits the attorneys, and we aren’t OK with that! Our team and family law attorneys make the client’s needs our number one priority.
At Atlanta Holistic Family Law, we are committed to helping clients resolve their family law matters in a peaceful way that protects their privacy, finances, mental health, and co-parenting relationship.
Most family law disputes can be resolved through one of our all-inclusive alternative dispute resolution packages. By bypassing the slow, public, and inefficient court process, your case will be resolved quickly, privately, and at approximately one-third to one-half of the cost of resolution through litigation.
We take pride in serving clients across the Atlanta metro area, including Cherokee County, Dekalb County, and Fulton County. This includes folks residing in Marietta, East Cobb, Alpharetta, and beyond!

Our Family Law Services Include:
Uncontested Divorce
When the parties can reach an agreement on their own, we can draft all the necessary paperwork and finalize your uncontested divorce.
Collaborative Divorce
For couples with disagreements regarding divorce terms, collaborative divorce allows you to use a respectful process that keeps your private matters out of the courtroom. Rather than an adversarial process, a collaborative divorce utilizes a team of legal, financial, and mental health experts to reach a mutually beneficial settlement. This process allows you to reach a positive outcome for your divorce while preserving assets and avoiding the stress of litigation.
Attorney Representation for Divorce Mediation
Many people ask, “do I need a lawyer if I am going through divorce mediation?” The short answer is yes. Having an attorney to represent you is advisable when using family law mediation, to ensure your best interests are safeguarded.
Mediation is a process where both sides and their counsel use a neutral third-party called a mediator to help resolve the disagreements between the parties. A mediator cannot give legal advice and can only help you reach compromises, so having your own attorney is important for advice during the process. Most family law disputes are resolved through mediation and never require a court hearing.
Attorney Representation for Arbitration
During binding arbitration, the parties hire a private individual to serve as the decision maker. Often the arbitrator is a retired judge. Each side, through their own attorney, presents their family law case to the arbitrator and the arbitrator determines the outcome. The process is like a court hearing, but unlike court litigation, it is private, much quicker, and the streamlined process means it costs less.
Divorce Mediator Services
If you do not need legal advice, but you seek assistance to reach an amicable compromise with the other side to resolve your family law dispute, divorce mediation may be an option. We offer mediation services to help you resolve your matter quickly and amicably. This service is best suited for individuals with limited family law issues requiring resolution.
Amicable Divorce
Like Collaborative Divorce, the Amicable Divorce process helps couples resolve their divorce outside the courtroom. Amicable Divorce utilizes other tools in the Alternative Dispute Resolution toolbox, such as mediation or arbitration.
Adoptions
If you need help with an adoption in Georgia, we can help. We handle uncontested adoptions, including relative adoptions, adult adoptions, and agency adoptions.
Georgia Legitimation & Paternity
When a child is born to unmarried parents, we can help the father file a Georgia legitimation action to establish parental rights and a parenting schedule. We can also help mothers file a Georgia paternity action to obtain a child support order.
Prenuptial Agreements
If you are engaged to be married, we can help you create a prenuptial agreement to define the agreed upon rights and responsibilities of each party during the marriage and what happens upon a divorce.
Postnuptial Agreements
If you are already married and plan to stay married, we can help you create a postnuptial agreement to define the agreed upon rights and responsibilities of each party during the marriage and what happens upon a divorce.
Modification
We can help you modify previously ordered child support, alimony, custody, or visitation.
We handle more than divorce! Additional family law practice areas include:
